ABOUT THE ARTISAN

In the heart of Pantelho, Chiapas, we work with close-knit group of Mayan women artisans, united by the ancient art of backstrap loom weaving. Led by a mother-daughter duo, they weave together panels, stitch by stitch, to create exquisite stripe designs which are unique to this village.
