This runner has been created in the framework of collaboration with the United Nations Development Project, Mexico. A project through a series of workshops and training programmes has helped build sustainable business models for women living in rural indigenous communities.

Luxurious in its handle, intricate in its detail and long lasting in its quality. A runner durable enough for everyday dining and beautiful enough to transform any tablescape or sideboard. The diamond motifs symbolise the universe and the path of the sun each day in mayan culture. Handwoven on the ancient backstrap loom, a zero waste technique. 

Origin Handwoven in San Andres, Mexico 

Craft 62 hours to weave

Size 190 cm x 35 cm 

Material 100% Cotton (OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified)

Care Machine wash cold and gentle and hang dry

Handmade - due to the nature of hand loomed goods there may be slight variations

Woven by the women of Chiapas on traditional backstrap looms. The intricacy and details which are interwoven into each tablerunner are embedded with generations of wisdom passed down through families and friends.
