ABOUT THE ARTISAN

Vero is a talented female weaver based in Chiapas, who skillfully operates a pedal loom—a tool traditionally used by men. Through her craftsmanship, she is breaking gender norms and redefining weaving practices in the region. Her small workshop is a hub of creativity, where she produces beautiful, intricate textiles that are a testament to her dedication and artistry.
